Tasks
As a researcher within CLIMIG, you will primarily work with analysis of quantitative data on migration, climate change and related socio-economic conditions, but also qualitative data, from the project's research areas in Peru, Ethiopia and Nepal. The work includes analysis and integration of survey data and spatial data, including remote sensing data, and interview data as well as scientific publication of the project results.
The tasks may also include combining quantitative and qualitative research results, organising and participating in workshops where research results are reconnected to relevant actors. The work is carried out in close cooperation with other researchers and international partners within CLIMIG.
Qualifications
The position requires a doctoral degree in human geography, development studies, migration studies, social anthropology or other subject that the employer considers relevant to the project.
