Data sources

We only use sources whose terms allow reuse, keep a link to every original page, and show when each entry was last checked. Official pages are always authoritative.

EU Funding & Tenders Portal

Open and forthcoming calls from Horizon Europe and Euratom, retrieved daily from the public search API of the EU Funding & Tenders Portal.

Vinnova

Open, forthcoming and planned application rounds of Sweden's innovation agency, retrieved daily from Vinnova's open data API. Many rounds are aimed at companies and public organisations as well as universities.

Vinnova's open data may be used freely (Public Domain Mark). Texts have been reformatted; contact details are not copied.

Research job ads

Postdoc, PhD, researcher and professor positions come from the national job services: Arbetsförmedlingen's JobSearch API in Sweden (open data under Creative Commons CC0, so those ads are shown with their text), arbeidsplassen.no in Norway (Nav's API terms allow republishing; ads from Jobbnorge arrive this way) and Starfatorg on island.is for Icelandic state vacancies, and the vacancy lists of the University of Copenhagen (Denmark) and Aalto University (Finland). Except for Sweden we list the facts and link to the ad. Ads are refreshed daily, disappear when they close, and the employer's own ad is the binding version. Job titles are machine-translated into English and Chinese; the employer's own wording is always shown underneath.

Swedish and Nordic funders and scholarships (facts only)

Calls and scholarships from the Swedish Research Council, Formas, Forte, the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research, the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation, the Wenner-Gren Foundations, STINT, the Swedish Institute, Lund University, the Research Council of Norway and the Research Council of Finland, and smaller Swedish funders: the Royal Swedish Academies of Sciences and of Letters, Riksbankens Jubileumsfond, Digital Futures, the Swedish Society of Medicine, the Swedish Foundations' Starting Grant, the Åke Wiberg, Helge Ax:son Johnson, Längmanska, Marianne and Marcus Wallenberg, Marcus and Amalia Wallenberg and Scandinavia-Japan Sasakawa foundations and the Royal Physiographic Society in Lund. Checked daily on their public websites. Calls that closed within the last year stay listed as "closed" so you can see when they usually run. Conference travel support (financial assistance) comes from the NeurIPS, ICML and ICLR websites, and global industry funding (fellowships and research awards) from Google Research and Amazon Science. Funders elsewhere in the Nordics: the Olav Thon and Trond Mohn foundations, Bergesenstiftelsen, the Norwegian Cancer Society and Helse Sør-Øst in Norway; the Finnish Cultural Foundation, Emil Aaltonen, Kone, Alfred Kordelin, Wihuri, Nessling, Finnish Medical and Instrumentarium Science foundations and Svenska kulturfonden in Finland; Augustinus Fonden and the Danish Cancer Society in Denmark; and the deadline list of Rannís in Iceland.

These websites publish no open licence. We only use sites whose robots.txt and terms do not restrict automated access, respect robots.txt on every visit, and store facts only (title, dates, who may apply, subject areas and a link). Descriptions are not copied; summaries are written from the facts. Always read the official page.

CORDIS and ERC results lists

Awarded ERC Starting Grants (2021–2025 calls) combine the CORDIS Horizon Europe projects dataset (projects, host institutions, amounts, abstracts) with the ERC's published lists of selected principal investigators (names and evaluation panels). Updated monthly.
