Research Scientist (1-year contract), SCIS

RESPONSIBILITIES

• This position is for School of Computing and Information Systems (SCIS).
• Conduct high-quality research on 3D world models.
• Generating/Collecting video/3d data.
• Implementing 3D modeling related programs.
• Implementing deep learning related programs.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum PhD degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems or closely related disciplines with particular focus on computer graphics.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant research experience in computer graphics.
• Proficiency in programming software/languages such as Python and C++ will be positively considered/ is required.
• Proven track record and professional experience in computer graphics.
• Demonstrated experience and know-how on world model.
• Excellent working knowledge of computer graphics and generative models.
• Ability to break down complex problems and design effective solutions.
• Innovating new approaches and thinking outside the box.
• Applicants with strong research publications in deepfake detection area will be advantageous.
• Ability to work cooperatively as part of a small, agile academic research team is essential.
• Self-motivated individual who can work independently and collaboratively with team members.
