Als promovendus ontwikkel je binnen de bredere doelstellingen van SOLIDTREE een eigen bestuurskundig onderzoeksproject. Mogelijke thema’s zijn onder andere:
- vertrouwen en legitimiteit rond data-gedreven besluitvorming;
- de manier waarop telers, overheden en andere actoren omgaan met verschillende vormen van kennis en expertise;
- governance en institutionele barrières rond duurzame innovatie;
- samenwerking tussen publieke, private en maatschappelijke organisaties;
- de rol van digitalisering en data in duurzaamheidstransities;
- de voorwaarden waaronder technologische innovaties daadwerkelijk worden opgenomen in beleid en praktijk.
Samen met onderzoekers uit andere disciplines werk je aan een beter begrip van de ecologische, technologische én bestuurlijke voorwaarden voor duurzaam bodembeheer.
Een interdisciplinair onderzoeksproject
SOLIDTREE brengt onderzoekers uit verschillende disciplines samen met telers, bedrijven, overheden en andere maatschappelijke organisaties. Daardoor krijg je toegang tot een uitzonderlijk rijk onderzoeksveld en kun je ontwikkelingen gedurende meerdere jaren van dichtbij volgen.

We zoeken vooral een nieuwsgierige en analytisch sterke onderzoeker met belangstelling voor governance en maatschappelijke verandering.
Je hebt:
- een afgeronde masteropleiding in bijvoorbeeld Bestuurskunde, Politicologie, Sociologie, Science and Technology Studies (STS), Sustainability/Transition Studies, Milieuwetenschappen, Innovation Studies of een verwante discipline;
- aantoonbare belangstelling voor thema’s als governance, duurzaamheid, digitalisering, innovatie of publiek-private samenwerking;
- belangstelling voor empirisch onderzoek en voor het werken met verschillende soorten organisaties en respondenten;

We verwachten niet dat je al expert bent op het gebied van laanbomenteelt of bodemecologie. Belangrijker is dat je geïnteresseerd bent in de bestuurlijke vraagstukken die ontstaan wanneer wetenschap, technologie, beleid en praktijk samenkomen.
