Your work assignments
We are looking for a postdoctoral doctor to an interdisciplinary project in the borderland between cancer biology, immuno-ecology, system biology and artificial intelligence. As postdoctoral, you will develop and apply methods for analysis of multimodal biomedical data from patients with pancreatic cancer and other aggressive tumor forms. The work includes statistical modeling, machine learning and system biological models to identify factors that drive metastasis and treatment responses.
A central part of the project is to integrate data from tumor tissue, blood and pre-metastatic means (such as the liver) to develop predictive models and advanced virtual human twins of cancer patients. You will work closely with both experimental researchers and clinical partners and contribute to the development of the next generation mechanistic and AI-based models in precision coneology.
In addition to experimental design and data analysis, it is also included in the tasks also scientific production and publication, presentation of research results at national and international conferences, as well as guidance of degree workers and doctoral students.
As postdoctoral, you will mainly conduct research. Teaching can also be included in the tasks, however, to a maximum of one fifth of working hours.
Your qualifications
To be eligible for employment as a postdoctoral doctor, you have discontinued a doctorate or have a foreign degree that is deemed to correspond to the doctoral degree. Your degree must be completed at the latest at the time when the employment decision is made.

Dina arbetsuppgifter
Vi söker en postdoktor till ett tvärvetenskapligt projekt i gränslandet mellan cancerbiologi, immunonkologi, systembiologi och artificiell intelligens. Den rekryterade postdoktoren kommer att arbeta med projekt som syftar till att förstå processer som reglerar olika steg av metastasering vid bukspottkörtel- och andra mag-tarmtumörer, och använda denna kunskap till att förutsäga metastasering genom integrerad analys av kliniska data, molekylära profiler och mekanistiska modeller.

Om anställningen
