Postdoctoral position in food technology with specialization in dairy and membrane processes

Department of Process Technology and Applied Life Sciences (PLE) At Lund University is located in Kemicentrum, one of the Nordic region's largest centers for education and research in the chemical area. Ple has about 150 employees, of which about 65 are doctoral students. The department offers broad expertise in areas such as chemical engineering, food technology, biotechnology and technical microbiology. The research and education at PLE span the entire chemical topic and include both basic education and postgraduate education.

The Department of Process Technology and Applied Biosciences (PLE) at Lund University works actively to ensure good working environment through several initiatives and routines. Ple encourages open communication and collaboration between employees, students and management to continuously improve the working environment. This includes regular meetings and dialogues to discuss work environment issues and find common solutions.

Description of the workplace

You will be part of the dairy group at the Department of Food and Medicines, in close cooperation with the membrane group at the Department of Chemical Engineering. The dairy group conducts research and training in dairy technology and dairy processes, with a focus on milk quality and how raw material and process technology affect dairy products. As postdoctoral, you become part of an interdisciplinary research environment with expertise in food technology, dairy technology, process technology and membrane technology, where the membrane group contributes with expertise in the development and optimization of membrane processes for
