Department of Medicine and Health Technology Seeks four lecturer to 20% recruitment from 1. January 2027 and 3 year forward.

The Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Medicine and Health Technology is four fixed-term positions in 3 year as 20% Associate Professor of Epidemiology, Statistics and Health Data Available from 1. January, 2027 or soon afterwards.

The Department of Medicine and Health Technology performs interdisciplinary research, teaching and dissemination in health technology and medicine. The institute has more than 250 employees and is responsible for over 1700 students. Over 70 PhD students are enrolled in the associated research school. The researchers are organized in a number of research sections and centers, and the institute has a laboratory and clean room facilities for 3D motion analysis, respiratory and circular studies, sansemotory analysis, cell culture, molecular biology, brain analysis, etc. The education programs include bachelor and master's programs in health technology, medicine, medicine with industrial specialization, clinical science and technology, and also part-time master's programs in pain science and interdisciplinary pain management, health informatics and sexology. Job description

Searches four 20% lecturers, which can be included in the Research section Section. Here you are closely closed in an interdisciplinary research group of approx. 24 Scientific staff dealing with research and teaching in digital health, machine learning, artificial intelligence, electrocardiology, image analysis, epidemiology, and decision support.

It is expected that you participate in all parts of the research process, from data collection to knowledge sharing such as participation in study design, extracting and displacing data from relevant registers and statistical analysis of data. Teaching medical students, PhD students and younger researchers are included in the position. Emphasis is placed on knowledge and experience with research using data from different Danish registers and databases, and it is expected that you will participate actively in collaboration with internal and external partners. We are looking for committed and highly qualified lecturers with expertise in epidemiology, statistics and healthcare handling. As the position involves work with Danish register data and government approvals, good Danish skills will be an advantage.

Qualification
Employment as a lecturer requires research and educational qualifications at the level that can be achieved on the basis of a satisfactory completed employment period as an assistant but will also be achieved otherwise.
It is assumed that the applicant has documented scientific production at international level. In addition, it is assumed that the applicant has received supervision and educational creation and has received a positive written assessment of its educational qualifications.

In assessing your qualifications, the following elements are included:

• It is expected that you are used to working with analysis in a statistical tool - SAS or R
• Proven theoretical knowledge in epidemiology and statistics
• Inbound experience with health science research
• Experience with nationally and / or international research cooperation
• In particular, the work experience in the use and management of register data from the Health Date Agency or Denmark's statistical
• Good collaborations and ability to act quickly constructively in teams
• Experience with supervision of younger students or younger researchers
• Medical education, as well as achieved PhD degree
