Research project title: Archiving, Bibliography and Librarianship

Summary: All teaching duties relating to the M-STO/08 academic discipline, offered on undergraduate degree programmes, master’s degree programmes and PhD programmes, primarily within the Department of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences, the School of Humanities and, more generally, the ‘G. D’Annunzio’ University. The researcher's teaching activities will be based at the Department of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences

Call description: The researcher will be engaged in academic work in fields relating to the history of books and documents, from antiquity to the present day, covering both technical and material aspects, as well as the methodologies of philological and historical research applied to book and document production (archival science, bibliography, library science). Archives – current, repository and historical – will be framed as hierarchical and relational structures, with particular attention to the historical and institutional contexts of production, management and conservation from the Middle Ages to the contemporary era; expertise is also essential in the history of archives from the medieval to the contemporary period and in archival description with reference to national and international practices and standards, in both analogue and digital tools; concerning Bibliography and Library Science, history of the tradition of written texts – whether created or handed down in any medium – as well as their organisation and use; they also cover the semantic nature of documents and the study of the design, production, dissemination, information and preservation of books, understood as a constituent element of cultural history. Titolo del progetto di ricerca: Archivistica, bibliografia e biblioteconomia

Descrizione sintetica: Nell’ambito degli insegnamenti afferenti al SSD M-STO/08 offerti nei corsi di laurea triennale, nei corsi di laure magistrale e nei corsi di Dottorato prioritariamente nel Dipartimento di Lettere, Arti e Scienze Sociali, della Scuola Umanistica e più in generale dell’Ateneo “G. D’Annunzio”, con sede presso il Dipartimento di Lettere, Arti e Scienze Sociali

Descrizione del bando: Il/la ricercatore/-rice sarà impegnato/a nell'attività scientifica nei campi che riguardano la storia del libro e del documento, dall'antichità sino ai giorni nostri, sia negli aspetti tecnici e materiali, sia in riferimento alle metodologie della ricerca filologica e storica applicata alla produzione libraria e documentaria (Archivistica, bibliografia, biblioteconomia). Gli archivi – correnti, di deposito e storici – verranno inquadrati come strutture gerarchiche e di relazioni, con particolare attenzione ai contesti storico-istituzionali di produzione, gestione e conservazione dal Medioevo all’Età contemporanea; saranno altresì tenute in considerazione la storia degli archivi tra età medievale e contemporanea e la descrizione archivistica con riferimento alle pratiche e agli standard nazionali e internazionali, con i relativi strumenti sia in ambito analogico sia in quello digitale; per quanto concerne bibliografia e biblioteconomia, la storia della tradizione dei testi scritti, elaborati o tramandati su qualunque supporto, del loro ordinamento e messa in uso; riguardano altresì la realtà semantica dei documenti e lo studio della progettazione, fabbricazione, diffusione, informazione, conservazione libraria intesa come elemento costituente la storia della cultura. In entrambi i versanti saranno valorizzati tanto l’ambiente analogico quanto quello digitale
