Welke waarden en idealen en sociale omstandigheden spelen daarin een rol? Hoe kunnen onderwijs en vorming bijdragen aan het floreren van leerlingen, studenten en de samenleving?
Je bent een enthousiaste docent, die studenten in de bachelor- en masteropleidingen inspireert om na te denken over thema’s als (menselijk) floreren, rechtvaardigheid, vrijheid, diversiteit en gelijkheid en hoe deze in (in)formeel onderwijs tot uitdrukking zouden moeten komen.
Verwachte kwaliteiten
Je:

  • bent gepromoveerd in de onderwijswetenschappen, pedagogiek of een van de sociale wetenschappen;
  • hebt recente publicaties over empirisch onderzoek in internationale wetenschappelijke tijdschriften naar genoemde onderzoeksthema’s van de vakgroep;
  • hebt bijgedragen aan of bent zelf succesvol geweest in het verwerven van tweede of derde geldstroomsubsidies;
  • bent in het bezit van een BKO of hebt de bereidheid om deze zo spoedig mogelijk te verwerven;
  • hebt meer dan drie jaar onderwijservaring op WO Bachelor- en Masterniveau met positieve evaluaties;

We bieden:
Een prachtige baan in een maatschappelijk betrokken universiteit, waarin vanwege het interdisciplinaire karakter van ons onderzoek en onderwijs veel wordt samengewerkt. Vanwege het kleinschalige karakter van de universiteit zijn de lijnen tussen collega’s kort en is ieders bijdrage van belang. Je krijgt dan ook mogelijkheden en verantwoordelijkheid om je eigen talenten en ambities te realiseren. Wij bieden in eerste instantie een contract voor de duur van 18 maanden. Indiensttreding bij voorkeur per 1 januari 2027.
De functie is ingedeeld als Universitair Docent 2 of Universitair Docent 1 in het Universitaire Functieordeningssysteem (UFO). Op basis van jouw kennis en ervaring wordt bij indiensttreding bepaald of je wordt aangesteld als UD 2 of UD 1, met de daarbij behorende salarisschaal. De salarisschalen volgens de CAO Nederlandse Universiteiten zijn respectievelijk schaal 11 (UD 2), tot max. € 6.682,= en schaal 12 (UD 1), tot max. € 7.573,= bruto per maand (bij een volledige werktijd van 38 uur per week). De trede is afhankelijk van jouw ervaring in een vergelijkbare functie. Over het salaris betalen wij ook een eindejaarsuitkering (13e maand).
Tot de secundaire arbeidsvoorwaarden behoren o.a. een goede pensioenregeling bij het ABP, een ruime verlofregeling, bruikleen van laptop en mobiele telefoon, flexibele werktijden en mogelijkheden om deels thuis te werken. Deze arbeidsvoorwaarden zijn aan te vullen via het keuzemodel arbeidsvoorwaarden. Verder krijg je ruimte en verantwoordelijkheid om je talenten te ontwikkelen en je ambities te realiseren.
